Bulevardul Magheru

Bulevardul Gheorghe Magheru is a boulevard in central Bucharest, located between Piaţa Romană and Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu, which leads to the University Square. It is named after General Gheorghe Magheru, a Romanian revolutionary and soldier from Wallachia.

Formerly known as Bulevardul Take Ionescu and Bulevardul I.C. Brătianu, it was built in the early 20th century as a prolongation of Bulevardul Colţei. It is the 26th most expensive street in the world, according to Cushman & Wakefield.[1]
